Terms of Use

Last updated: September 19, 2026

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the h1site.com website, the client portal at h1site.com/portail, the online tools and the integrations provided by H1Site, a business based in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec.

By using these services, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the services.

2. The client portal

The portal lets H1Site clients follow their projects, tasks and support tickets, communicate with the team, upload documents, and view their time bank and invoices.

Access is limited to people invited by H1Site. Sign-in uses a code or link sent by email, with no password.

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account confidential, since it is used to sign in. Tell us immediately about any use you did not authorize.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload illegal or malicious content, or content that infringes a third party's rights;
  • attempt to access another client company's data;
  • circumvent security measures or disrupt the services;
  • use public forms to send messages to people who did not request them.

4. Uploaded documents

You keep ownership of the documents you upload to the portal. You grant us the right to store and process them only as needed to provide the services.

Images may be converted to WebP format on upload to reduce their size. Documents are stored privately and are only accessible to authorized people at your company and to the H1Site team.

5. QuickBooks Online integration

The portal can be connected to QuickBooks Online, a service of Intuit Inc., to sync customer records, retrieve invoices and show their payment status.

This integration is only enabled by H1Site, for its own accounting. It reads and creates customers and invoices; it does not modify or delete existing accounting data.

Access tokens issued by Intuit are kept server-side and are never sent to the browser. The integration can be disconnected at any time from the portal administration or from QuickBooks Online, which revokes access.

QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. H1Site is not affiliated with Intuit Inc.

6. Personal information

How we handle your personal information is described in our privacy policy, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

7. Intellectual property

The website, the portal, their code and editorial content belong to H1Site unless stated otherwise. No licence is granted to you beyond normal use of the services.

8. Availability and liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the services available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or because of third-party providers.

To the extent permitted by law, H1Site's liability is limited to direct damages and does not exceed the amounts paid for the services concerned in the preceding twelve months. Nothing here limits the rights you have under the law.

9. End of access

We may suspend portal access if these terms are breached or when the business relationship ends. You may ask us to close your access at any time.

10. Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; the update date appears at the top of the page. These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
